A BIG attraction - Choose to do it all or do nothing at all !
THE BARRINGTON TOPS NATIONAL PARK:- This rugged park is full of contrasts. Carved out of an ancient volcano, it rises from near sea level to over 1500m. In the lower valleys, you'll find World Heritage-listed subtropical rainforests. Up on the plateau, there is subalpine woodland which can have snow in winter.
Most of the area is declared wilderness, and it's a well-known destination for bushwalkers. But the park is accessible even to those with limited mobility. Its excellent track network extends from short, easy walks to steep overnight treks.
The park's varied environments are home to a wide range of plants and animals, and it protects more than 50 rare or threatened species. In this area, many northern and southern plants meet the limit of their range.

Good morning Herman & Val,
Thank you very much for your hospitality and the accommodation was wonderful, better than we could have hoped for, we certainly had a great weekend and we would love to stay again. We will also be making sure to tell our friends and family about your place and what a great time we had.
Regarding the BBQ, we did roast a boneless chicken and some veg in there on Saturday night, it was beautiful.
Thanks again for a lovely stay and we hope to see you again soon.
Regards,
Simon Duffie

On our arrival Friday night, greeted with a fresh home cooked loaf of bread we unpacked and settled in with a glass of wine and the fireplace. The Cabin was beautiful, so well designed. Next morning we had scrub turkeys walking along the verandah. While having a cuppa, the parrots came flooding done for feed, so frendly that we had them sitting on our hands. The wallabies came for a feed too...At night 2 possums came down and hung off the rafters outside. We went to Chichester Dam, worth a visit, picnic out or BBQ.
It was a weekend that we will never forget, one that we have highly recommend to all..
PS..take some extra food for the animals.......
